How to read the explorer
Two fair six-sided dice have 36 equally likely ordered outcomes. A total of 7 has six combinations, so it appears more often than any other total. Totals 6 and 8 each have five combinations; totals 4 and 10 have three each.
What “before 7” means
A Place bet and several other standing wagers remain active through unrelated rolls. If you select 6, for example, five combinations win the number race and six combinations lose it to 7. The other 25 combinations do not settle the race, so the probability is measured across eventual decisions rather than a single roll.
Probability is not a prediction
The percentages describe long-run frequencies, not what the next roll must do. Dice do not become “due” after a streak, and a short session can finish far above or below the mathematical average.
