FanDuel Craps Review: Minimum Bets, Odds and Eligibility

Sam Originally published

FanDuel deserves a look if you are an eligible online-casino player seeking low-denomination digital craps. Its public First Person Craps listing in a Michigan context advertises a $0.50 minimum. That is a useful starting point for comparison, but it does not establish the minimum deposit, total cost of a multi-bet layout or limits for every wager.

Information checked October 7, 2026. This is a research-based review of public sources, with independently calculated examples. We did not register, fund an account, test a withdrawal or inspect a logged-in local paytable. Confirm the casino’s current offering where you are physically located.

Is FanDuel worth a closer look for your plan?

Consider researching it when
You want to investigate a publicly listed First Person Craps game and compare a small entry stake with your full planned exposure.
Look elsewhere or wait when
You require live physical dice, or are treating the advertised game minimum as the deposit minimum. Neither follows from a First Person game listing.

Our verdict: a low advertised entry stake, with important boundaries

A small flat bet can make the game more affordable than a high-minimum physical table. It can also give you time to learn settlement without committing to several numbers at once. FanDuel’s published game listing is therefore relevant to a genuinely small-budget comparison.

Our recommendation is conditional: check the exact title, accepted chip units, game rules and cashier before depositing. We cannot turn a public listing into a blanket claim that every FanDuel customer can play the same game at the same limit. Nor does a low minimum make craps profitable or make a bonus suitable.

The published game and limits

The official First Person Craps page displays “$0.50–$5,000 Min/Max Bet.” Its footer identifies Michigan authorization and registered users physically in Michigan, aged 21 or older. Treat the range as an advertised game listing, not a confirmed maximum for every betting spot or for a whole layout.

Evolution describes First Person games as RNG products and identifies an interactive tutorial for First Person Craps. A virtual studio appearance does not make the title a live-dealer table. If you specifically want streamed dice and a dealer, compare the separately named live game; its limits and controls may differ.

What a 50-cent Pass Line bet actually buys

Under conventional Pass Line rules, a $0.50 flat bet wins $0.50 profit when it resolves as a winner. You also get the original $0.50 stake back if it is returned rather than automatically retained for another bet. A $1 settlement credit would therefore contain fifty cents of profit, not one dollar of profit.

On the come-out, 7 or 11 wins and 2, 3 or 12 loses. A box number establishes the point; after that, the Pass Line wins if the point repeats before 7. There can be several rolls with no settlement. Forty fifty-cent units in a $20 budget are not forty rolls, and they are not a promise of forty minutes.

For fair independent dice and standard Pass Line rules, the win probability is 244/495 and the loss probability is 251/495. The expected loss per resolved fifty-cent flat bet is $0.50 × 7/495, about $0.0071. Across 100 such resolved bets, it is about $0.71. Actual results can be substantially better or worse. A house-edge average is not a session spending cap.

Adding Odds changes exposure before it changes anything else

Suppose a game accepts a $1 Pass Line bet and $5 Odds after point 6. This is a conventional-rules example, not a verified FanDuel limit. The active stake is $6. On a winning 6, the line pays $1 profit and the Odds pay $6 profit, for $7 total profit. Returning both stakes produces $13 back. On a 7, both wagers lose: $6 is gone.

With a $20 starting balance, committing $6 leaves $14 uncommitted. A win with both stakes returned leaves $27; a loss leaves $14. The zero-edge Odds component does not protect the line bet, and it does not make six dollars of exposure suitable for a twenty-dollar entertainment budget. Declining Odds is reasonable if the extra loss would matter to you.

Use the Odds explanation to understand the payout ratios before judging a game’s advertised maximum Odds multiple.

A bonus should pass a craps-specific test

Do not assume that a casino welcome headline applies to this title. For the offer presented to your account, determine whether First Person Craps is eligible, what percentage counts toward wagering, whether there is a maximum bet and whether withdrawals affect the promotion. We do not quote a welcome amount because offers can differ by location, account and date.

A hypothetical $600 play-through target with 20% craps contribution requires $3,000 of eligible turnover. At fifty cents per counted wager that would be 6,000 wagers, if each qualifies; a multi-roll contract bet is not necessarily credited on every roll. At 0% contribution, no amount of craps wagering clears the target. Read our bonus calculations before opting in.

Choose the casino account, not the sportsbook shortcut

Sports wagering availability does not establish casino availability. Use the regulator’s legal operator list when checking Michigan, or the regulator applicable to your state. Our U.S. online casino guide helps separate those questions.

Before funding, inspect the local cashier’s deposit and withdrawal choices and any identity requirements. Record the exact offer accepted, if any. If a payment is delayed, distinguish a casino request still pending from money already sent to a payment provider; our cash-out guide explains that difference.

When FanDuel is—and is not—a practical shortlist choice

Consider it when the local listing confirms the game you want and the accepted stakes fit your planned loss limit. Pass if the game is unavailable, the cashier requires more money than you want to commit, or the promotion requires play you would not otherwise choose. Free practice remains the better starting point when you are still confusing stake, profit and settlement credit.

Check the official First Person Craps listing, then read the rules in the local casino. This is a direct informational link, with no promised exclusive promotion or commission-bearing referral.
