“Net now” is immediate cash flow. When dice composition matters for a Hardway or Hop, the row shows a conditional average and range.

Supported wagers and important limits

Supported: Pass Line, Don’t Pass (bar 12), Come, Don’t Come, Pass/Don’t Pass Odds attachments, Place, Buy, Lay, Field, Hardways, Any 7, Any Craps, straight 2/3/11/12, Horn, World, C&E, and Hop.

Not modeled: Odds on traveled Come/Don’t Come contracts, casino-specific Odds limits, alternate bar rules, Big 6/8, bonus bets, put bets, or nonstandard proposition payouts.

Place, Buy, Lay, and Hardway wagers follow the puck and are OFF on the come-out by default. You can explicitly mark those rows working. Buy and Lay use the shared registry’s 5% commission and selected timing/rounding.

Method: Every ordered dice pair is settled by CrapsPit’s shared v1 payout engine, then grouped by total. Review the rules source. Educational model only; table procedures can vary.

What the exposure map shows

A craps layout can hold several wagers that react differently to the same roll. This builder combines their immediate cash flow without pretending that every wager has the same time horizon. Set the puck, add the wagers that are actually on the table, and then read across totals 2 through 12.

The highlighted 7 row makes that total’s immediate effect easy to find. It is not a prediction. A total of 7 has six of the 36 ordered two-dice combinations, while the other totals have between one and five combinations.

Immediate result versus eventual expected cost

  • Per next roll averages only the immediate cash-flow change across the 36 possible ordered dice outcomes in the displayed pre-roll state.
  • Per completed decision follows each wager to its own resolution. A standing Place bet ignores unrelated totals; a new Pass contract includes its complete come-out and point sequence; a one-roll bet resolves immediately.
  • Modeled session repeats one of those clearly labeled averages using the decisions, rolls and duration you enter. It does not forecast the result of a particular session.

Supported wager and state model

The builder supports Pass Line, Don’t Pass under bar-12 rules, new or traveled Come and Don’t Come contracts, valid Pass/Don’t Pass Odds attachments, Place, Buy, Lay, Field, Hardways, Any 7, Any Craps, straight 2/3/11/12, Horn, World, C&E and Hop. Place, Buy, Lay and Hardway wagers follow the puck and are off on the come-out unless you explicitly mark them working.

Odds on traveled Come and Don’t Come contracts are not offered because the approved shared state model currently validates Odds parents only against Pass Line and Don’t Pass. Casino-specific Odds limits, alternate bar rules, bonus bets, Big 6/8, put bets and nonstandard proposition paytables are also outside this release.

Commission and dice-composition details

Buy and Lay rows use the shared rules registry’s 5% commission, including its win-only or upfront timing and exact, nearest-dollar or up-to-dollar rounding choices. An upfront commission is reported separately from wager principal because it has already been paid and is no longer money sitting on the layout.

A total alone does not always determine a Hardway or Hop result. When different dice pairs within the same total create different settlements, the map gives the conditional average, the minimum-to-maximum range and the number of winning or losing combinations.
