This page explains browser storage used by CrapsPit’s public tools, comments and commercial links, and the controls available to readers. A check of one page cannot establish the behaviour of every feature or destination.
Public features and browser storage
The public site includes comments, a contact form, free first-party tools and affiliate links. The Table Coach uses local storage, rather than a cookie, to remember coaching preferences, lesson progress and the active lesson. This data stays in that browser until you clear site storage. A new practice session clears wagers and rolls but may retain those preferences.
Calculator and exposure-map share links store the selected inputs in the URL fragment. They do not create a visitor account. Anyone receiving a shared link can see those inputs.
WordPress comments and Gravatar avatar requests, hosting logs and affiliate redirects can involve technical identifiers. An affiliate destination applies its own cookie and privacy practices after you follow the link. See the Privacy Policy for information submitted through comments and the contact form.
Cookies currently used by public readers
The Table Coach stores preferences locally. WordPress may offer to remember comment details in cookies; signed-in editors use authentication cookies. Affiliate destinations may use their own tracking. Ordinary server logs may record a web request as explained in the Privacy Policy; a server log is not itself a browser cookie.
WordPress administrator cookies
WordPress uses authentication, security, and preference cookies for authorized editors who sign in to the administration area. These are necessary for managing the site and are not intended to track ordinary public readers across unrelated websites.
Hosting and security technology
The host, cache, content-delivery network, or security layer may use a short-lived essential cookie if needed for traffic management, attack prevention, or session integrity. Any essential cookie should be limited to the function that requires it.
External links and embedded content
Clicking a normal external link takes you to another site, which may set its own cookies under its own policy. A normal link does not load that site’s cookie on CrapsPit. Embedded videos, social posts, maps, casino widgets, or similar content can behave differently because third-party code loads inside the page. The embedded Table Coach is hosted by CrapsPit. External media should be assessed separately before it is added.
How policy changes are shown
If CrapsPit introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, personalization, or social-media tracking, this page will identify the provider, purpose, storage method, and available choice. The Last updated date at the top identifies the policy version readers should use.
What clearing browser data changes
Deleting cookies may remove saved comment-name fields or an editor’s authenticated session. Clearing CrapsPit site storage can also erase Table Coach preferences and lesson progress because those settings use local storage. The next visit then starts with the default coaching state.
A calculator or exposure-map share link is different: its selected inputs sit in the URL fragment. Clearing browser storage does not alter a link that was already copied or sent. Remove the fragment from the address before sharing if you do not want those virtual wager settings included.
Clearing CrapsPit data does not delete information already submitted through a comment or contact form, and it does not clear storage created on an affiliate or other external site. Use that destination’s privacy and cookie controls after following an external link.
Your browser controls
Browsers allow you to inspect, block, or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies can prevent a login or security feature from working. Clearing site storage also removes the Table Coach’s locally saved preferences and lesson progress. Cookie controls alone may not clear local storage.
