This policy explains the limited personal information CrapsPit.org receives when you read the site or contact us. CrapsPit is an independent gambling-education publisher. It is not a casino, does not accept wagers, and does not hold player funds.
Information you choose to send
If you contact CrapsPit, we receive the email address or other contact details you use, the contents of your message, and any information you attach. Please do not send passwords, government identification, casino account credentials, banking details, or medical information. CrapsPit cannot access or resolve a gambling account.
Technical information generated by a visit
Like most websites, the hosting and delivery systems may create server logs. These can include an IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser or device information, response status, and security events. This information is used to deliver pages, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, and protect the site.
Current public-site features
CrapsPit offers public articles, comments, a contact form, free educational tools and casino-review links. It does not offer public member accounts, ecommerce, a newsletter signup or real-money wagering.
Comments: the site receives the name, email address, optional website and comment you submit, together with technical information used by WordPress for moderation and spam prevention. Approved comments, names and website links may be public; email addresses are not displayed as part of the comment. Avatar images may load from Gravatar, which receives the image request under its own privacy policy.
Contact form: the site emails your submitted name, address, topic, related URL and message to the publisher. A temporary, hashed connection identifier limits repeated submissions for approximately one hour. The form is not a gambling-account support service.
Free tools: the Table Coach stores coaching preferences and lesson progress in your browser’s local storage. Tool share links encode the selected calculation or layout in the URL fragment; anyone you share that link with can read those inputs. The Table Coach’s live bankroll and roll history are not included in its page link. Copy, print and share actions run only when you choose them.
Commercial links: some casino-review links are tracked affiliate redirects and may earn CrapsPit a commission. See the Advertising Disclosure and Cookie Policy. This description does not certify that every request is free of logging or that a third party uses no tracking.
How information is used
- To send pages and maintain the site.
- To respond to messages.
- To detect spam, attacks, and technical failures.
- To enforce site terms and protect legal rights.
- To comply with a valid legal obligation.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by service providers needed to host, secure, back up, or deliver the site and its email. They should receive only what is needed for that service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to investigate abuse, or to protect the rights and safety of the site or another person. CrapsPit does not sell a visitor database for money.
External and affiliate links
A normal link does not give the destination site information you previously sent to CrapsPit. When you click an external link, however, the destination receives the request and may collect technical or account information under its own policy. Some links may be affiliate links, as explained in the Affiliate Notice. CrapsPit does not control a third party’s privacy practices.
Retention and security
Contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, keep appropriate business records, handle disputes, or meet legal obligations. Technical-log retention is determined by operational and security needs and by the relevant hosting provider. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your privacy requests
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection concerning personal information. Use the Contact page and label the message “Privacy Request.” We may need enough information to verify the request and locate the relevant record. Some information may be retained where the law permits or requires it.
Children
CrapsPit discusses gambling and is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from them. If you believe a child sent personal information to the site, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.
Changes to this policy
This policy will change if the site’s actual data practices change. The updated date will be shown at the top. Material changes should be disclosed in a reasonably prominent way where required.
