US politicians' decision to limit online gambling might be challenged by the European Union. Many of the major casino operators are British, and members of the European Union are doubtful what motives American government has with the act. Maybe it isn't only to prevent Americans from gambling online. EU Internal Market Commissioner suggests that the bill was passed only to prevent foreign online gambling companies to enter the American market. That it's a case of protectionism rather than a way to keep Americans away from betting online.
