Place Bets

A place bet is a bet that a certain number will come up before a 7 is rolled. This works like a come bet, but players choose their own numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10.)

If the chosen point is rolled the player wins, and if a 7 is rolled the player looses. The chosen point and the 7 are the only numbers the player has to focus on.

The odds for place bets are 9 to 5 for the numbers 4 and 10, 7 to 5 for the numbers 5 and 9, and 7 to 6 for the numbers 6 and 8.

I make place bets very often, and they are a vital part in many of the systems that I have on this site. There are may systems involving place bets on 6 and 8 but make sure you don't confuse that with "big 6" and big 8". Big 6 and 8 are sucker bets, but place bets don't have to be a band investment.
