Henry Tamburin Sets New Craps Record

The most important skill a dice controller needs to have is to be able to make as many rolls as possible before a seven comes up.

The most bets are lost when the dice show seven and they are handed over to the next player. As long as the shooter continues to roll any other number he still has the chance to hit his point.

When the world's best craps shooter, The Dominator, teamed up with dice control expert Frank Scoblete in 2003 they managed to take this to a new level. They became a feared dice control team, and casinos all over America soon realized that "Dom" and Scoblete actually could beat them at their own game. They developed, what now is called, the Golden Touch.

The Golden Touch team holds dice control courses, and that was where it happened. The best-selling gambling author and blackjack expert Henry Tamburin attended one of these classes and set an all-time record in the No Seven Contest. He threw 45 numbers before a seven came up which is 6 more rolls than the previous record set by Arman "Pit" Boss. Remember that a seven is supposed to come up every 6th throw. The dice have 36 possible outcomes, and 6 of them produces seven. That is the same as 30 to 6 against rolling a 7 (5 to 1). He made 45 throws…

When taking the odds into consideration one realizes that Tamburin's new record is a great accomplishment. However, the Domiator still has the no-seven record in a casino. He has made 56 consecutive throws without a seven showing, and that was with money on the line.
