If the Palestine Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh agrees to start peace negotiations with Israeli minister Ehud Olmert, Shaked has promised to donate this huge sum. But he doesn't stop there. If the two sides come up with a plan that would bring peace to the region Shaked has promised to add another $900 million to the donation. Shaked thinks that if the Palestinian economy could be brought up to Israeli standards, there is a grater chance to come up with an agreement to put an end to this long going conflict.
Shaked is the major shareholder of the online casino 888 which is one of the world's largest web-based casinos. However, both sides have rejected this offer even though the Palestinian leader is on a tour in the Middle East trying to raise money for his government.
